The night before, we went to help clean the Stadium. Lot's of helpers turned up to help get it in a clean and tidy state! It was really organized too. There was lots of chewing gum from the university kids. But after a couple of hours, it was all clean and set up ready for the next day. It felt like one of those experiences you read in the magazines about the brothers and sisters cleaning up a stadium they have hired and how it brings glory to Jehovah's name because it is given back in a very presentable state.

It was good to have the Special Assembly Day not long after we arrived, we met alot of people - some from other lands that have moved here as well to help out, we got lot's of invitations to visit different congregations. I didn't get much out of the programme as we would have if it was in English but it was great just to be there with our brothers and sisters in Bolivia.

Oh yeah, we walked to the Assembly too - something we never do in Auckland! It was about a 10 minute walk there, so that was a neat experience too.
